I love my Cunruope Pilates reformer! The local Pilates studio near me always has a waitlist, so I decided to invest in my own reformer. Pilates is so sustainable, and having it at home makes it even better.
I bought my reformer from Cunruope about four months ago. When I first saw it online, there was only one review. But after watching the introduction video and going over the detailed specs, I was really impressed by how versatile it is. And the price? Totally shocked at how affordable it is for such a high-quality piece of equipment!
For installation, I definitely recommend checking out the installation video on Cunruope's website before you start unboxing. It's super helpful, especially if you're a first-timer like I was.
Now, I can't even begin to describe how beautiful this machine is. It's so sturdy and well-designed—the frame is made of aluminum alloy, and the carriage is wide and smooth. The glide is so silky, and if you want to incline the machine, the headrest is adjustable. Plus, the ropes are automatically adjustable, which is a really thoughtful touch.
My local club uses Balanced Body reformers, and while Cunruope’s quality isn’t quite at the BB level, it’s still fantastic. The frame is sturdy, the bed glides smoothly, and the springs offer multiple resistance options. The straps and ropes aren’t quite as high-end as BB, but they’re still excellent. I also bought the Tower, and I absolutely love it. The platform is high-quality and solid, and there are plenty of springs for any kind of workout.
Overall, I’m super happy with my purchase. I definitely think it was a smart investment!

The delivery was on time, and this reformer is incredibly well made! It glides smoothly and almost silently! It’s sturdy and wide, and it feels perfect for me.
I’ve been taking Pilates classes near my home for a few years, so I’m used to the Merrithew reformer. I really wish I’d invested in this machine sooner! My monthly payment is only $2 more than my class fees, and I could’ve had it this whole time! This reformer totally exceeded my expectations. The communication with the seller was great—I got regular tracking updates and was notified when it arrived for local delivery. It only took about 40 minutes to move it inside and put it together, then it was good to go. Just a heads-up: you’ll definitely need two people—it’s heavy and big.

I ordered this reformer to complete my gym, I already have the Wunda Chair. We were on a limited budget and could not afford to buy reformers from Merrithew or Balanced Body. We looked at many other reformers online, selected three, and made phone calls. After many phone calls, we finally chose cunruope. Because they addressed all our concerns. (We took a risk, I had not heard of them..)
Delivery: We received a call from the truck driver two days in advance to schedule a specific delivery time. This was very useful for planning my schedule without having to worry about the equipment suddenly showing up at my doorstep. Truck drivers were SO kind ... they unloaded from the truck (no damage to the shipping box at all) and even helped wheel it into the workout room (separate outbuilding near the driveway).
Quality and Stability: This reformer is very sturdy. The carriage is well padded and slides very smoothly. The rails are aluminum and very sturdy. The tower is also made of aluminum. It is easy to fix the tower, just tighten the screws and it will not shake. There is a scale printed on one side, so you can position it at will, which is a very convenient feature. I expect many years of use of this product.
Size: The width of the carriage is 27.5", which is wider than any other carriage I've seen. This is a good thing for me, as my husband is larger and needs a wider carriage. Leg height is 14", which is what I expected. If you need a taller leg, they said they can customize it.
Assembly: This reformer was a breeze to assemble. Maybe took me half an hour, with some intermittent help from my husband. It will definitely be easier if someone can give you a hand to hold things, but definitely could be done alone.
Overall, I give this reformer a 5/5 rating. It's a great option if you're on a budget and need great quality and cost-effective equipment.
